4SocialCare Support Workers undertake an extremely important role.  
We always try to build the staff team around the individual we are supporting; however listed below are some of the typical skills, attitude and qualities we look for: people who

  • value other people
  • have a ‘can do’ attitude
  • are calm and patient
  • can help the people supported to feel in control of their lives
  • like working as a team but can also work on their own
  • enjoy helping people with daily tasks like shopping and preparing meals
  • are comfortable with providing personal care, such as bathing
  • are reliable, turn up to work on time and do what they say they will do
    follow the company’s policies and procedures
  • are happy to work shifts, including some sleep-ins and weekends
