Post available: Support Worker

Supported accommodation for 16 plus, designed to prepare them for independent living.

Job Summary

Our support workers undertake an extremely important role helping the people they support, typically who are affected by autism and/ or learning disability, to feel in control of their lives.

You must have good interpersonal skills and have a confident nature. Responsibilities will include helping people with daily tasks such as shopping and preparing meals and supporting the person to access community based services. You may be required to provide personal care, such as assisting with bathing. You will be require to work shifts including some sleep ins and weekends.

The vacancies are based in the Bedford.

Previous experience is desirable, but not required as full training will be given.

Our Support Worker pay rates typically range from £8.21 to £10.20 per hour.

All staff will be required to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and full referencing.
